We have this completely non-Catholic news item. It seems Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is technologically challenged and had her dear grandsons help her out with her answering machine. (This would be what is known in parental lingo as a Big Mistake. NEVER admit technological weakness to your offspring.) The result:
Hey wassup!” their message said. “This is Liz. Sorry I’m away from the throne.”
“For a hotline to Philip, press one. For Charles, press two,” the recording continued.
“And for the corgis, press three.”
And the only reason I am glad they’re not my children is because if MY children did that, I’d have to pretend to be all serious and chew them out. “For the corgis, press three.” That is TOO funny!!
Wait! I know…serves the royal family right for splitting from the Catholic church anyway. There. Now it’s Catholic.
